The Reverse Emo Changeling

What's up! You've just stepped into The Reverse Emo Changeling base - a project resurrecting the MySpace vibe and the 2005-2015 era, back when the internet wasn't overrun by corporate bots and subcultures actually had a soul, not just a price tag. We're not blindly romanticizing the past, but we do miss having a real community, so we're doing things our own way - with better gear, but the exact same rebellion in our hearts.

We're not gonna write a whole novel about ourselves here—you can find all of that in our videos, vlogs, and podcasts. Putting it all here would just turn into a massive wall of boring text. Though, we're currently cooking up an "Unofficial" section for this site where we'll drop random facts and behind-the-scenes stuff about us over time. (Don't bother looking for it yet; we'll announce when it's live on Telegram!)

We want to breathe new life into a space that honestly just went dead. A ton of creators vanished from the web or slowly left the subculture behind. No drama, no shade—we just feel that void and plan to fill it with something that actually matters.

Our game plan? Solid, high-quality content deeply rooted in Emo and Scene vibes. But we're not just locking ourselves into music and threads. We want to dive into topics that actually hurt and matter—from mental health and empathy, to stuff close to the Queer community, and even some light activism.

Who's behind this?

The main "persona" and heart of the project is Nico Łach, though things are... let's say... "complicated"*. Nico is the "physical signboard" for a small group of alters:

Zebroid: Our main frontman. He's the one you see most often in front of the camera, doing the work and spreading the message.
Wiktor: Appears on screen once in a while when Zebroid needs a break.
Vikasiek**: Our resident artist. All visual designs are his original work—zero cheap AI tricks here, just pure digital art.
Marina: Well, you have to meet her in person to understand.
Others: If they start talking on camera for longer, we'll list them... for now, everyone is signed on the site banner.

* "It's complicated" (we talk more about this in our DID-related content), where everyone has their own turf and doesn't step (Suuure XD) on each other's toes.

** We decided together that because our work is often collective, it will be signed as Emo Changeling. We were pushed to this by Zuckerberg's gang very rudely nuking our long-standing "Vikasiek" account on Instagram, so: "To hell with you Zuckerberg, you're not doing us any favors, you can shove your Meta for bots up your ass—we have our own gallery, way better than Insta!".

Where to find us?

YouTube - this is currently our main channel, where we focus on longer videos.
TikTok - it's kinda like a trash bin for content that isn't high quality enough for YT, video teasers, and whatever we don't mind throwing there.
Instagram - like we said, we're not there anymore, just like the rest of Zuckerberg's dump of low-quality bots and AI. We have no interest in wading through that pretty smelly mud (and yeah, we'll keep saying this).
DeviantArt - yeah, we upload art there but...
Our gallery on this site - here, nothing cuts our quality, restricts descriptions, censors art, or bans accounts. This is where you'll find our graphics and photos in original quality, with full descriptions, dedications, and often in multiple versions.
Telegram - this is our main communication hub. We drop all announcements about releases here, it's where we answer your questions, and sometimes we throw in some behind-the-scenes stuff you won't find anywhere else.
Facebook - we don't run any official account connected to Emo Changeling there. We have some old profile used to keep in touch with the handful of old 'friends' who, for unknown reasons, are still stuck there, but zero content.
GitHub - it's just a tech account to maintain this site, you won't really find anything there, but yeah, we have one and it's absolute boredom... (they forced us ;P).
LinkedIn - It exists, but don't expect much from it. We're just taking up space and showing that someone like us exists in the real world, but don't look for any of our content on this corporate runway—we aim way higher.
The World - even though it's tough, we sometimes show up in public spaces, mostly at concerts and certain events (like the Pride March). We usually announce these anomalies in advance, so yeah, you can check and verify that we're a real living animal and not AI.

What do we actually do?

We're not interested in empty reach or taking the easy way out for the algorithm. We do things that actually matter to us:

Video Production: We mix glitch/emo/scene vibes with modern quality. We don't do half-measures (even though we're still just learning).
Activism & Education: We are a voice of the progressive left, backed by facts and science. We educate about subcultures and push the importance of mental health hygiene.
Safe Space: We're building a place with zero room for hate and toxicity. If you're looking for a chill conversation, you're at the right spot.
Pigeon art: Yeah... pigeons. We turn artists and influencers into these flying rats and now we have a whole mini digital art collection—only for those we have a good vibe with, obviously. Sometimes people even call us 'Pigeon Boy' and honestly... kind of iconic.

Collaboration & Backend

Technically we are backed by Toxic Echo Studio, managed by Mighn Taghor—a freak with a punk ethos who remembers the pre-internet world. He handles the editing and all that business "backend" so the frontend (aka us :) ) can shine.

"In corporate lingo, they'd probably say he 'relentlessly executes operational goals' and 'maintains full control over conversation dynamics.' In practice, it just means he's allergic to corporate bullshit, doesn't let anyone walk over us, and won't agree to compromises that would ruin this project. Negotiations with him can be tough for anyone trying to buy us out—because we're simply not for sale."

We have a built-in allergy to hidden product placement—we respect our viewers (and our own mental sanity) way too much to play sneaky manipulation games.
We reserve the right to pathological honesty—if your product turns out to be trash, we'll say exactly that. No sugarcoated marketing talk.
We only collab with brands close to our worldview. Budgets can't replace aligned values—market rates for our souls just don't exist.
